Power Hour

So I'm (re)reading Jack Canfield's, "The Success Principles" -- a real inspirational book. I def recommend it to everyone who wants something more out of life, whether that be in business, relationships, family, health, finance, etc... so that's basically everyone, lol!

Anyway, he talks about the power of visualization and that it's actually been scientifically proven to work. Amazing stuff. He mentions something called the power hour -- which I'll start doing starting tommorow.

The power hour is 20 minutes of meditating on your goals/visualizing them, 20 minutes of reading inspirational literature or advice about achieving your goal, and 20 minutes of physical exercise.

Bang a power hour out everyday and watch your life skyrocket! good luck!!

I've been thinking..

so I know I've been focusing a lot on online ways to make money. this is probably because, surprise surprise, most info that people see online is about making money...ONLINE! wow, real shocker there. Anyway, online income is awesome more people are getting rich now online than any other way.

HOWEVER. with all that being said, making money the old fashioned way, offline, is still full of possibilities and shouldn't be neglected.

So for my next newsletter, next blog post, or maybe both, I will discuss one or more ways of offline money making. you gotta mix things up. soooooooo stay tuned!!!

eBay Report!

speaking of eBay...

ok ok, I know I've talked a lot about eBay lately (not to mention the fact that it's the focus of the article in my upcoming newsletter) but this is one more thing you DONT want to miss --

I've been talking with a friend of mine who is a mega mega powerseller, thousands of positive feedback, I can't remember the exact # right now. Anyway, he told me the exact days and times to start your listings to get the most bids and highest prices. you may be surprised to see what they are, they're probably not what you think...

Anyway, I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking of giving you this priceless info in a FREE report. I might ask a handful of questions about my newsletter and then give the report as a thankyou for answering the qs.

Just wanted to give you a heads up... should be ready sometime in the next few weeks.

ps - next time I write in the blog and/or newsletter I promise I'll talk about something other than eBay! I love eBay but there are of course looots more ways to make money :)

Happy Turkey Day everyone! I'm sure you don't need any help making your stomach fatter tonight....so here's a tip to make your wallet fatter instead --

For everyone reading this post today on Thanksgiving.

This product: BENNOTI ESPRESSO & CAPPUCCINO MAKER (20 BAR PUMP) is selling today on shnoop.com for $99. It is under "yesterday's shnoop", so it'l probably be gone tommorow.

One sold on eBay last week for $164! Only a couple sold in the last 10 days...so don't go crazy and buy a dozen. Just buy one to be on the safe side. Do it today. Shoop.com. Flip for a quick $50 profit or so on eBay. Good luck!

easy quick way to make a few bucks - easy money

so eBay is doing this little holiday promotion right now -- 10% off any item, up to $100 off. This is the perfect way to make an easy $20-$50 profit. Simply buy a popular selling item that sells for around $1,000, preferrably one with inherent value to minimize the risk. I recommend a one ounce gold eagle coin -- these have inherent value and they're selling for a little under $1,000 right now. Buy one of these, get your $100 off, and then resell for full price.

No, it won't make you rich, but you'll make AT LEAST $20 after fees, and it couldn't be easier!!!

I thought about it a lot, and I decided to come home and take a bit of a break. I just got back to the U.S. a couple days ago!!! So, at least for the next month or two, I'll be home and have plenty of time to post lots of interesting money making pieces of advice. sooooooooo stay tuned!

Time management

Here is a short but usefull article about time management written by an a friend, Bosco. Bosco has a managerial position at an internet marketing company and has created dozens of his own, highly successful websites -- he makes hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. I plan on interviewing Bosco and placing the videos on my website sometime in the future. ANYWAY. Here's the article:

How to I manage my time ?

As a business expert I get this question daily. One of the biggest challenges that every entrepreneur will encounter is really how to manage ones time.
Here's the golden nugget. The secret to managing your time effectively is really your ability to manage yourself!
There are four basic rules to time management
a- Time Blocking - This is when you set two hour time blocks to take care of your daily operations and tasks at hand. At this time you don't allow any outside distractions come in the way.
b- Technology Kills - With text messaging, emails and the internet it almost makes it difficult to do your job! Simple check your email periodically and you will notice you get a lot more work done!
c- Friction - One of the biggest challenges is letting your personal, mental, or physical frictions come into the work force. The golden rule is when you come into the office there is room for nothing else but business! Controlling your emotions and focusing on the tasks at hand will always help you get more work done!
d- Time is money! Your time is valuable and prioritize your time efficiently and stick to your plan!

wildfire give away

So I've never done anything like this before but I personally know one of the guys running it -- Ben Hume -- I talked to him about it, and it seems like a good deal.

It's a massive database of tons of free digital products. You can get as many freebies as you want -- and this is normally stuff that normally sells for lots of money. It's a win-win situation for you and for the people who are giving the products away. You win because you get a free product. In return, they win because you give them your email address and they get to add you to their (also free) mailing list. There really is no downside, and you can always instantly unsubscribe if you don't really want to be on their mailing list...lol.

I'll be sending an email out later about this if your on my list, but if you want to check it out now..

the latest news

hey everyone, the reason I haven't been posting much on the blog recently is because I've been really busy looking for another teaching job here in Basel (Switzerland). My contract with where I work now ends in 1 month -- so I've got about a month to find another teaching job or I'll have to leave if I don't find one. It's not even that I need the money...LOL :)

The main reason I need a legitimate job is so I can extend my living permit for another few months. ANYWAY. Now you know why my blog and other internet stuff has been on the backburner -- but believe me, this is only temporary! When I get my job situation figured out I'll be able to devote more time to my money making blog, etc... so stay tuned, and wish me luck!

Busy Busy Busy!!!

Hey, sorry I haven't posted for a few days -- I've been super super busy over here! Since I had been working so hard on my online business stuff the last few weeks, I decided to take a little break from it all. When I wasn't teaching English, I've been rock climbing, hiking, biking, visiting Germany, and of course visiting some of my favorite bars and clubs. For those of you that don't know, I'm living in Basel, Switzerland. It's awesome because I'm about 15 minutes from BOTH the French and German border!

blogging is hard work!

This is my first blog... and wow is it time consuming. I'm sure it will be all worth it in the end, but it's a lot my work than I originally thought.

I've spent the last few hours ATTEMPTING to ping my blog and get it registered in blog search engines.

I'm doing everything I can to build some traffic. Anyone reading this is more than welcome to share suggestions and ideas to get this blog started, thanks in advance!

I'm about to make $200 for 30 minutes of work

So check this out. Here is how I'm about to make a cool two hundo for insanely little work: The best baseball team in the world...The Chicago Cubs (who just clinched their division -- GO CUBS all the way babyyyyy!) umm, anyway, as I was saying... Last week, Carlos Zambrano threw a no-hitter. This hasn't happened for the Cubs in decades.

On their website, cubs.com, I saw this special offer -- $20 for unused "souvenier" tickets from the no hit game. What a ripoff! I first thought to myself... then slowly, it dawned on me... I wonder what people are paying for these on eBay. A quick check showed that they were selling for $40 each!!! I immediately bought 10 tickets. wham-bam-thankyou ma'm.

so here's the time breakdown:

checking price of tix on eBay: 2 min

taking a photo and loading it on computer: 5 min

listing item on eBay: 10 min

shipping item after sold: 20 min

okay, so that's 37 minutes... but still, not bad for $200!!

how you can save $$ hundreds $$ /month

Here's an article from my newsletter. I give step-by-step instructions for how I personally save hundreds of dollars a month. It's simple and works like a charm:

#1 –Step-by-Step How to Save Money + Tips

I could talk about this for days, and I could easily write a book about it…hmm, there’s an idea…. For now, here is a short, step-by-step guide to saving money and some tips at the end.

a. Save ALL your receipts for one week. Hold on to everything, from the receipt for that 99 cent pack of gum to the receipt from the gas station.

b. Make a budget. This is how much you are currently spending. Worry about your future budget later. You can get a reasonably good idea of monthly expenses from one week. I recommend doing this on an Excel spreadsheet. Categorize each expense. For example, you will need a category for restaurants. If you spent $6 that week in McDonalds, $15 at Panera, and $33 at a fancy restaurant, you would put $54 for that week under the “Restaurants” category. Check out the budget I made for myself (for Switzerland) in an excel spreadsheet here. For monthly expenses like my $440 rent, I broke it down into a weekly expense ($110/week). You don’t even need to know how to use excel. You can simply edit my categories and replace them with your own categories. The “total/week” and “total/month” will automatically change for you.

c. Review your budget. I’m sure you can find ways to save. How many expenses can you cut down? Did you really need that extra $5 beer at the bar? That’s $20 a month right there…

d. Now subtract all the money that you plan on saving per week. Ex: I want to spend $5 less on candy/week, $15 less on groceries/week…etc.

e. Change your budget accordingly. Ex: after making the changes in step d., your candy budget will be $10/week instead of $15. Your grocery budget will be $50 instead of $65…etc. Congratulations, you now have a NEW BUDGET! Stick to this, and you will find yourself saving hundreds of dollars per month like magic!

first blog post!

Hey everyone, I just want to briefly introduce myself and give an overview of what this blog will cover.

My name is Jordan Sanders. I have been creating and running my own businesses for 7 years now. In addition, I've been an eBay Powerseller for the last 4 years. I'm not currently an eBay Powerseller because I've been super busy moving and getting settled in to my new home in Switzerland! For detailed info about my past business experience and just about me in general, you can check out my bio -- http://drboy77.com/AboutMe.aspx.

I'm creating this blog to supplement all the juicy info I reveal in my FREE newsletter. This info is all about how to make money, both online and offline. I will be revealing the exact same tips and tricks I've used to create wealth.

I will occasionally publish an article or select piece of news from my newsletter here. In general, my newsletter will contain different info -- so all you information junkies will benefit by reading both.

That's the general picture... I'm going hiking in the Swiss alps now. I'll post more in the next day or two. Ade (pronounced ah - day, it means goodbye in Swiss-German)
