a little something extra

I don't usually do this, but I just wanted to let all you guys know what's been going on in my life recently...not really related to making money but what the heck.

1. I just joined a band. Their called It Is What It Is (iiwii). If you want to check out our music here it is

2. I've been interviewing for an internet marketing internship. As much as I like working on my newsletter, website, and products, I think it would be really nice to get some "business" experience working for an established company.

3. I just had some Lentil soup for dinner... It was quite delicious.

Oh, by the way, if you want to friend me on facebook please feel free. Jordan Sanders, and my network is Indiana '08

quick tip

ok, so this won't make anyone rich, but it's definitely something you should be aware of...

So, I'm sure you've all heard of rising bullion prices recently, in part caused by our struggling economy. Now that the stock market sucks, many are turning to gold bullion for investing purposes.

Well...speaking of rising bullion prices...guess what? All pennies made on or before 1982 actually contain about 3 cents worth of copper. During 1982, SOME pennies were made with copper, and some made with zinc. Here's how to tell. Flick it in the air. If it makes a ringing sound, it's copper. If it makes a dull sound, it's zinc.

What I've been doing is simply putting aside all the copper pennies I receive in change. One day, perhaps in a year or two, I'll sell them in a lot for their bullion value and make triple or quadruple the face value!!! Wow, I am way too excited about this

ps

ps - I'm sure you can guess the reason I've been so successful selling presidential inaugural memorabilia in the last few days...

sell whats hottt

Okay, this may be common sense to some of you, but I just have to say it anyway because its soooo important...

Sell what's hot or popular at the moment. I can't tell you how much this has helped my sales. I'll give you a few examples...

I've had a bunch of Nancy Drew books for a while. Did I sell them right away?? No. I waited until the Nancy Drew movie came out and sold as many as I could then.

I've done the same thing with vintage James Bond books, with great success.

I also have sold Nancy Drew and James Bond books at other times, when the movies were NOT in theaters...and I noticed a HUGE difference. They didn't sell nearly as fast, and I had to price them a LOT lower.

Most recently, I've been fortunate enough to find a whole stockpile of old presidential innaugural memorabilia. No joke, I've sold about $500 worth in the last two days.

I understand that you won't always be able to find sources for everything. Just do the best you can. Remember, keep your eyes and ears open, and strike while the iron is hot!!! Best of luck!

Another "Success Principles" Tip

Here's another powerful tip from the "Success Principles":

--do 5 things everyday to further your goal--

These "things" can be just about anything. For instance, if you are promoting a book, you could email/call 5 radio stations or tv channels, send the book to celebrities, call bookstores to scheduele talks, read "how to" articles about marketing...etc.

So whatever your goal is, if you do 5 things everyday, little by little, they really start to add up.

Best of luck,

Jordan

another hot tip!

hey everyone check this out. This is so simple I can't believe I hadn't heard of it before.

One of my many hobbies is coin collecting. I was just reading an article online and it gave an awesome tip that everyone can do right now and make an easy $10. The US mint has a circulating coin program. They give you $500 in dollar coins with free shipping and handling. If you have a credit card that gives you cash back, order it with the credit card.

No, it's not going to make you rich...but that's a free $10 (from the cash back you get with your credit card)
